At Ryan's No Frills in Beamsville we collected more than 500 kg/1200 lbs of food and over $500 in cash and gift cards to support our programs and community need at Village of Hope Niagara. What a day, what a way, to kick-off Village of Hope Niagara Back To School campaign yesterday. Thank you to everyone who attended, and to all of the participants who made it a successful event – our concert with The Blackstones, and outstanding food provided by Rustic Food and Catering Company – the launch resulted in donations of more than $8500 dollars, a fitting beginning to our goal of $50,000
Our Back To School campaign for the children of our families in need is on now through school's start. Your donations make the difference. Too many children in our community face returning to school with needs unmet, without resources in the home, only food insecurity and lacking income – persistent obstacles to their education, and futures.
