Last evening (Wednesday April 26, 2023) was the Annual General Meeting of Village of Hope Niagara, at which we welcomed our 2023 Board of Directors to service. With thoughts of future harvests now in the air, Village of Hope Niagara Operations Manager, Joe McCarthy with Friend of the Village, Jeff Riley have begun preparations for this year's expanded Community Garden. With funding from an TDCanada Friends of the Environment grant, this year's garden will feature raised beds for greater accessibility for those with mobility difficulties.

On Friday (April 21 2023) evening, the Town of Lincoln held their Annual Reception for their Good Citizen Awards. We were delighted that two of our volunteers, Marie McNiven and Nancy Hodgkins were nominated, and recognized this year, as Good Citizens, for the contributions they make to enhancing life in Lincoln, for the community. Thank you both so much, from all of us at Village of Hope Niagara.

Village of Hope Niagara welcomes the coming Spring of Concern to Lincoln with the sense of renewal and hope it can bring. It's our chance to chart a new course for ourselves, and our neighbours in need.
