A New Year with the promise of Hope

As we enter 2025, our team at Village of Hope Niagara reflects on the challenges many in our community continue to face. This past year has highlighted the ongoing struggle of our neighbours dealing with food insecurity, and we remain committed to supporting them in meaningful ways.

While the road ahead may still have its difficulties, we are hopeful about the impact we can make together. Our focus this year is on expanding our programs and reaching more families who rely on our services. We believe that with compassion and collaboration, we can help ensure that everyone has access to the food and resources they need.

Let’s stand together in this new year, working to create a stronger community where no one goes hungry. Here’s to a year of resilience and support for those who need it most.

I registered today at Village of Hope Niagara. I had no money, hydro disconnected, went with so much hesitation and embarrassment. I spent over an hour there, VoHN reconnected my hydro, help me plan a budget and filled my fridge with food. My 3 children received all new knapsacks and supplies. Words don't even begin to say Thank You. As a resident in Beamsville for over 22 years, it's nice to know we have somewhere to turn when we need it most.

Two years in a row. Thank you.

“Thank you to everyone at Village of Hope Niagara. As a Dad of 3 young children, with a loving wife, it was devastating to walk into your charity and admit we hadn't eaten anything for over a day. I hardly got the words out and volunteers were taking us to the food room. We went from feeling like failures, deflated, to having hope that someone cares.”

Make It Monthly - You can make a very large impact in our community with a small monthly donation, and our page makes that very simple…

When made monthly, 50 cents a day, a dollar a day or what you're able to donate, sustains our programs and enables us to assist Lincoln families through difficult times. We're the bridge that keeps their lights on, keeps them in their shelter, and with food in their fridge. Join our High Hopes club as a monthly donor, and help us help our neighbours.

“No words can express how thankful I am as a single Mom in Vineland with 3 small children to have the support of Village of Hope. Many days I worried about putting food on the table for my kids. Village of Hope provides us with a food delivery every 2 weeks including fresh. Thank you so so much.”

“Thank you Village of Hope Niagara, for taking the time to come to my house and deliver food to Beamsville. With 3 young children, no car, and husband gone, I felt so deflated till I called you. So so thankful our community has Village of Hope Niagara.”
